Vaporesso XROS 3 Pod System Review: Best Vape Pod In The Market
great vape to make the transfer from a disposable to a refillable pod
Vaporesso XROS 3 Pod is the latest version of the XROS series, and the Vaporesso XROS series has gained popularity for its reliable and robust pod systems. And I’m incredibly impressed with this Xros 3 device, too.
I love how small it is and how great its taste is. It has a big battery, type C fast charging, perfect airflow, an excellent auto draw mechanism, long-lasting pods, and a ZERO leakage problem.
It is designed to meet the needs of both beginner and experienced vapers at an affordable price.
This review will explore the unboxing experience, design and build quality, usability, and performance.
We will also provide an overall verdict on whether the Vaporesso Xros 3 is the right pod system for you.

The device has pod options: one pre-installed with a 1.0-ohm mesh coil for mouth-to-lung vaping and a 0.6-ohm pod for restrictive direct lung hits.
XROS 3 is cross-compatible with previous versions, allowing users to use their existing pods, which is a big plus for those who want to try new Xros pods with old XROS cartridges.
Inside the box, you’ll find:

I’m digging the sky blue they sent me, but you’ve also got black, navy blue, space gray, icy silver, rose pink, royal gold, and mint green – plenty of slick styles to suit your taste.
Xros 3 Design and Build Quality
The Xros 3 keeps things slim and light, measuring just 115.1mm x 23.6mm x 13.7mm, a compact size that feels comfortable in the hand.
Its weight gives it a premium feel without being too heavy. Great for those who want a pod system that offers portability and comfort.
Despite its conveniently compact, pocket-friendly size, the Xros 3 still houses a powerful 1000 mAh battery for heavy vapers who want to use it as a go-to device.
On the top, the new XROS 3 pods have a more contoured and comfortable mouthpiece shape, making it an upgrade from previous versions, and the magnetic pod installation is super smooth and secure.
The clear pod cartridge allows you to check e-juice levels at a glance, so you are able to easily keep an eye on the juice level inside the cartridge without having to remove the pods to check the juice anymore.
On the front of the device, we have a clicky round firing button for manual control, but it also has the option for auto-draw. You can activate draw by inhaling if you prefer.
Right next to the button is one of my favorite features – the Adjustable Flow Control. The AFC on the new version of the xros 3 has a giant and smaller hole, allowing you to choose your perfect draw by sliding it from loose MTL down to a restricted direct lung hit.
This airflow control level on a pod system is a clutch to customize your vaping experience.
And on the bottom is the handy Type-C charging port for quick juicing. The XROS 3 has a texture on the back, and the devices can be powered on and have a battery status indicator.
The new light on the Vaporesso XROS 3 cycles through different colors while vaping, adding a fun and visually appealing element to the device.
How to use Vaporess xros 3 pod
The Vaporesso Xros 3 is simple to use. Five clicks of the fire button turn the Xros on or off. You can either press the fire button and vape or use the auto-draw mode and inhale through the mouthpiece to activate the device.
The LED bar on the bottom acts as a battery indicator to know you vaping and your battery life through every breath, While vaping, the LED will cycle through red, blue, and green.
The LED will also react differently depending on the current battery level – when the battery is between 70-100% charged, the LED will be green.
When it is between 30-70% charged, the LED will be blue; when it is between 0-30% charged, it will be red. This color-coded LED system provides an easy way to monitor the device’s battery level.
Vaporesso XROS 3 features an axon chip that has pulse mode inside that boosts the power up to 16w and more stable and constant flavor, as the chipset within checks the coil multiple times per second to ensure constant power delivery.
It has a 2ml e-liquid capacity with a top refilling design, making it convenient and easy to use. It also has an extensive battery of 1100mah that lasts up to 48 hours, and you can charge it quickly with the included Type-C cable.
How to fill Vaporesso xros 3
Filling up the Vaporesso xros 3 pods is a life changer. It’s simple: snap off the top cap, fill the juice, and snap back on. You’ll love how easy it is!
There’s nothing you can do wrong. Just ensure you prime your coil for at least 5 minutes before taking your first hit.
Also, The coil heads in the XROS 3 have impressive longevity, lasting over three weeks and potentially even longer.
Xros 3 pod kit Performance and Vapor Quality
Xros 3 pod system has two pods with a 2ml capacity and features solid magnets for easy pod installation. I was impressed with how the pods ramped up their performance over previous generations.
Here’s what each pod offers:
- 0.6-ohm pod – Designed for limited direct lung hits or a loose MTL draw depending on airflow setting. Brings out excellent warm vapor and thicker clouds.
- When I want to blow clouds, I’ll open the airflow up, throw in the 0.6 ohm pods, and cloud away. When I want that MTL cigarette feel with my salt nic pods, I close the airflow off with 3 quarters.
- 1.0-ohm Pod – Made for tight mouth-to-lung vaping. Perfect for higher nicotine salts or stealthier vaping.
The flavor felt super pure and clean on the inhale, and the pods easily last a couple of weeks before a gradual taper in flavor. That’s impressive pod life! They are cross-compatible with the full line of 6 different Xros pods, which is super convenient.
Now for the real meat and potatoes – how the Xros 3 performs. In a word – phenomenally. The flavor and vapor quality on both pods exceeded my expectations. Using 50mg nic salts, the 1.0-ohm pod delivered an incredibly smooth yet rich flavor.
The draw can be adjusted from loose MTL to an ultra-tight cigarette-like pull, so it caters perfectly to mouth-to-lung preferences.
Nic’s hit on the 1.0-ohm pod also feels super solid and satisfying.
Stepping it up to the 0.6-ohm mesh pod, the direct lung capabilities were similarly fantastic. Using 6mg freebase juice, the warm, dense vapor production paired perfectly with the bolder flavor delivery.
While not a full-on direct lung vape, the 0.6-ohm pod still threw out serious clouds that fulfilled that satisfaction of a deeper draw. And again, you can tighten the airflow for an excellent loose MTL vape on the 0.6 ohms, too.
What about battery life? Given its 1000 mAh battery capacity, I wasn’t surprised that the Xros 3 also nailed battery life. I quickly got a full day or even a day and a half of continuous use before needing to recharge.
Considering the vapor quality’s warm and dense, battery life in a small pod device is clutch. The battery indicator LEDs also make keeping tabs on power levels easy.
When it comes time to recharge, the Xros 3’s battery recharges super fast thanks to the Type-C port. I went from empty to complete in less than an hour, which is crazy for a pod vape.
So, between the long battery life per charge and the fast recharge rates, there are no complaints here!
The need for the option to disable the fire button and strictly use auto draw on the Vaporesso XROS 3 is seen as a missed opportunity for improvement in the third version of the device.
except the fire button in the pocket could be a problem. You don’t know why an auto draw needs a fire button and why you can’t lock it?
Except that the XROS 3 is still considered the best pod system from Vaporesso so far, with good airflow and excellent flavor, it has become my go-to for vape pods;
great battery life is excellent and will last a day of heavy vaping. Top fill is a life changer. It is so simple and easy! If you want a vape for work, the Xros is your baby.
Vaporesso Xros 3 Vs Xros 3 Mini
Vaporesso XROS 3 and XROS 3 mini are similar devices with new pods and broader airflow. Both have a powerful 1000-mmAh battery and replacement cross pods, with pods in different colors.
Someone may prefer the smaller XROS mini for its compact size, but including only one pod in the package for the XROS 3 mini is a significant drawback.
Compared to the XROS 3 Mini, the XROS 3 has the option of both a fire button and auto-draw, while the XROS 3 Mini is strictly an auto-draw device.

Vaporesso XROS 3 is an MTL pod system with different coil options, airflow control, and battery capacity that provide a satisfying custom vaping experience; pods are cross-compatible with previous xros versions.
I love how small it is, convenient, and affordable. The 1.2 and .6 pods work well in it. You can also choose between nic salts and freebase e-juice to use, depending on the pod you’re using.
With great flavor, zero leaks, great device price, a big battery for a small body, TYPE-C fast charges, fully adjustable airflow, and a long-lasting pod lifespan, it has quickly become my favorite pod system.
The only thing to transfer into using the pod system is to find the juice with a ratio that would work best for you.
